Cask #350
The cask has a particularly interesting history. Before being used for whisky maturation, it spent at least seven years at a winery in Burgundy, France, where red wine matured in the oak.
At the end of 2016, the cask underwent an S.T.R. treatment – Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred – at a Spanish bodega. This process exposes and rejuvenates the oak, increasing interaction between the wood and the spirit during maturation.
In March 2017, Cask #350 was filled at Annandale Distillery with their peated spirit. The whisky subsequently matured for more than five years before being bottled in Scotland in October 2022.
It was bottled at an impressive 60.3% ABV, preserving the powerful character of this single cask.

The combination of peated Annandale spirit and the S.T.R. Burgundy red wine cask creates a distinctive profile with:
