A man standing on the left looks at a wall with two tall, rectangular openings that reveal pillars standing behind them. Lines of sight are indicated by dashed lines. Without the printed signature of the engraver Georg Conrad Bodenehr (1673–1710). Plate 4 from the second volume of the work "Der Mahler und Baumeister Perspectiv", published by Jeremias Wolff in Augsburg in 1711. This is a reduced German edition of the work "Prospettiva De' Pittori E Architetti" by the painter and architect Andrea Pozzo S.I. (1642-1709), first published in Rome in 1693. Berlin Catalog 4726.

On thin laid paper with watermark: crowned double-headed eagle with the Imperial regalia. With a circumferential plate margin. Slightly stained.
