An elegant Italian ceramic vase by Leola, distinguished by its elongated, architectural form and finely speckled rose and burgundy finish. The generous, gently tapering body rises to a restrained shoulder and is complemented by a gilt-brass-toned fitting, lending the piece a sophisticated mid-century character. Sold without lamp shade.

The vase retains its original electrical fitting and wiring. For safety and contemporary use, professional rewiring is recommended.

The piece is in good overall condition, commensurate with age and use. There are two small chips to the lower rim/base, discreetly concealed by the variegated speckled surface. These are relatively unobtrusive and can be readily restored by a competent conservator.

A highly decorative example of Italian ceramic design, equally suited to a contemporary or period interior.
