This brand new whisky from Ardbeg, which bears the name of the village of Trudernish*, offers a taste experience marked by notes of vanilla and a creamy texture, enhanced with subtle notes of smoke. Fifteen years of maturation give it remarkable complexity and sweetness.
Delicate notes of peat emanate from the glass before revealing a scent of vanilla ice cream topped with caramel sauce. The nose reveals aromas of orchard fruits, complemented by notes of ripe melon, kiwi and berries.
Notes of pine and wood smoke then lead to nuances of black licorice and tart chocolate with a touch of herbaceous mint.
On the palate, a silky texture accompanies floral notes and roasted nuts before giving way to a long and smoky finish.
Non-chill filtered for maximum flavor. Bottled at an alcohol content of 48.8% vol.

*Trudernish is a hidden village along the path to Claggain Bay on the Ardtalla Estate, south-east of Islay in the Inner Hebrides.
