The Matsui Single Cask Mizunara Cask Single Malt Whisky from the Kurayoshi distillery is the masterpiece of the range created by Matsui Shuzo.
It is a selection and blend of two batches among the best in its category of Single Malt offering suave notes of vanilla and spices, an acacia honey side, between power and delicacy.
Aged for more than three years in Japanese oak barrels (Mizunara), it releases a sweet and refreshing aroma of malted barley, with notes of oriental spices and fine caramel, in a contained and very fine power, with an admirable length. The unique finish based on spring water from the Tottori desert gives it a little extra subtlety.
Development: Aged for 3 years in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels, renowned for its rarity providing unique and original flavors.
Reduction with natural spring water from Mount Daisen.
