Old Italian violin labeled "Iginius Sderci fecit Florentia Anno 1952".
No cracks. One piece back of interesting flamed wood with matched sides. Top straight high grained spruce. Very shiny inlaid purfling top and back. Big and strong scroll. Golden brown varnish. New boxwood set up and new strings. Whole length 585 mm, back length 355 mm. The width of the upper bouts: 168 mm; middle bouts: 113 mm; lower bouts: 205 mm. Vollständige Größe.
The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power.
