The Macallan Fine Oak 12 Years Old – Triple Cask Matured
An attractive lot comprising three bottles of the now-discontinued Macallan Fine Oak 12 Years Old, presented in the less common 50 cl format, each with its original individual box.
The Fine Oak range was part of an earlier generation of Macallan whiskies and has since been discontinued. It was characterised by its Triple Cask maturation, combining whisky matured in European oak casks seasoned with sherry, American oak casks seasoned with sherry, and American oak casks seasoned with bourbon.
This maturation created a style somewhat different from the more sherry-focused Macallan expressions, combining the distillery's characteristic richness with greater freshness and notes of vanilla, citrus, dried fruit and oak.

The three bottles are unopened and in excellent condition, with very good liquid levels. Labels, capsules and original boxes are also very well preserved, as shown in the photographs.
