Sohon Stentoj - Tischlampe - Porzellan - dänische Designlampe
The origin of Søholm Stentøj (Soholm’s sandstone) dates back to the first half of the 17th century and the Danish island of Bornholm, famous for its pottery and fine ceramics.
Søholm was founded in 1835, in Rønne, Bornholm, by Herman Sonne Wolffsen (1811-1887) and Edvard Christian Sonne, making it one of the oldest ceramic factories in Bornholm, until it closed in 1996. The name, Søholm, comes from the factory where the two founders were employed, a pottery near Copenhagen, in 1828-1839.
In the middle of the 20th century, Søholm produced a wide range of stoneware in various patterns and shapes.
We are offering for sale this exceptionally beautiful porcelain lamp from the above-mentioned factory, with a brand new black lampshade, the inner surface of which is gilded, giving the lamp a beautiful color of light like incandescent iron.
That's why we ship it together with the bulb. Carefully packaged in a registered, insured package.
The lamp is in good condition, it can be operated with a rotary switch, there is a small dent at the bottom but it is not disturbing because it is not visible.
