The Rising Sun flag is made of thin cotton and from Imperial Japanese Army.
A pole is from wood bamboo and is very hard to find. Japan created these flags for Japanese as personal equipment to send soldiers off to war.

Nice Patina and is clearly used, Iconic item.
In fair used condition because its an old there is wear, dirt, dust, losses and stains. The original pole has stains and paint losses but still in fair condition, please see attached detailed pfotos for the quality and condition.
