They contain coded information including the issuing organisation’s abbreviation, the breeder’s or ringer’s unique number, the year code, and a sequential identification number. Historical context During the late 1970s and early 1980s, European taxidermy was characterised by naturalistic poses and a shift toward interior-friendly display style.
