The author is “Sato Bokudo 佐藤朴堂(1935-)”. ◯Enso 円相 /  Enso is a type of Zen calligraphy and painting in which a circle is drawn  with a single stroke.  In Zen Buddhism, the round shape is drawn as an image of enlightenment.  It represents the complete harmony of the mind. ◯Mujinzo 無尽蔵 / Infinite Abundance  It represents endless, abundant possibilities and the teachings of Buddha.  It represents the Zen teaching that by letting go of attachments and becoming nothing,  infinite possibilities and spiritual richness are born. ◯Sato Bokudo 佐藤朴堂(1935-)/  Born in Kyoto in 1935.  1956: Established a hanging pagoda at the Myoshinji training hall.  1971: Head priest of Fukujuin Temple, Daitokuji School.  1977: Received the title of former abbot of Daitokuji Temple. There are stains and dirt due to aging. There is a stain on the wooden box. This is an antique item. Please understand that it is used and shows some signs of wear. Please check the image. Roller end: Wood. This scroll comes with a wooden box and is heavy due to its size and material. Therefore the shipping costs will be a little higher. I will cover a small part of the shipping costs.(4-5 euros depending on the region). Shipping method is EMS by Japan Post. EMS is the fastest and secure international mail.
