Über den Verkäufer

Giulia Baita is an Italian artist specializing in Mobile Art, a contemporary art form that exclusively uses mobile devices such as iPhones and iPads. Born in Pelago (Florence) and residing in Sardinia, she holds a degree in Contemporary Art History and she has a strong connection to art since childhood. She discovered Mobile Art in 2009, fascinated by the expressive possibilities offered by technology. Since then, she has developed a personal style that blends elements of the Mediterranean artistic tradition with an innovative digital aesthetic. Her works explore the relationship between humanity and nature, feminine spirituality, and harmony with the natural world, central themes in her series: "Golden Lady" and "Fantastic Animals". In addition to her artistic work, since 2017 she has been a key figure in promoting Mobile Art globally. Since 2018, she has been invited to judge major Mobile Art awards, including the MIRA Mobile Award (Porto), the MDAC Exhibition (Palo Alto, California), and the Mobgraphia Award (São Paulo, Brazil). In 2021, she participated in the Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art. In 2024, she won the award for the official face of the NYC Film Festival, confirming her role as an innovative and internationally recognized artist. Art critic Elena Gollini writes of her: "Giulia's artistic oeuvre is undoubtedly exhaustive, complete, and pure. Her works possess the precious gift of being particularly attractive and endowed with great intrinsic energy. They invite the viewer to abandon themselves to poetry and beauty." Giulia Baita currently continues to exhibit internationally at galleries and fairs, she collaborates with galleries and exhibition spaces, and promotes Mobile Art as a contemporary artistic language of great impact. Her works are part of numerous private collections.
