Bugatti Bolide is the new exceptional hypercar with which the French car manufacturer wants to show its ability to build an ultralight vehicle around its iconic 8.0-litre W16 engine. 
There are many interesting features, and one of the most particular is certainly the one related to the coating applied on the roof of the vehicle. 
At low speeds, in fact, the surface remains smooth, while at high speeds “bubbles” are formed to reduce the aerodynamic drag by 10%.

Bugatti Bolide: from 0 to 500 km/h in 20 seconds.

An ingenious and very light vehicle, with a dry weight of 1,240 kg, against the 1,995 kg of the Chiron Sport. 

The all-wheel drive transmission was designed specifically for this vehicle, and in operation it is similar to the solutions used in Formula 1. 

The weight of the transmission system is significantly reduced with the use of air-to-air intercoolers with water pre-cooling, which allows the vehicle to reach a torque of 1,850 Nm and a power of 1,825 HP.
