BIO:
Bolley nasce a Gap (Francia) nel 1935; vive e lavora a Bardonecchia dal 1973, anno in cui ha abbandonato Torino e l’attività professionale di dirigente nell’industria meccanica. 
Dai suoi esordi, che risalgono alla fine degli anni Sessanta, ha realizzato, in Italia e all’estero, oltre 100 mostre tra personali e collettive. 
Nel 1987 Bolley ha soggiornato per tre mesi a Kawaguchi-Ko, sulle pendici del Fujiyama (Giappone), su invito dello Spazio Institute di Tokyo, uno dei più importanti centri di ricerca grafica di quel paese.
La natura e la necessità di preservarla sono il tema delle sue opere. 
Bolley, che ormai ha alle spalle 60 anni di lavoro, è stato il primo artista in Europa a dedicare opere all’inquinamento atmosferico e lo ha fatto attraverso una figura che lui chiama “il Mangianuvole”. 
Inoltre, ha un interesse costante per il segno, il simbolo: crea composizioni astratte con le lettere di diversi e fantasiosi alfabeti.
