Te koop aangeboden deze Volkswagen Kever 1200 type 1 uit het jaar 1957. De Volkswagen Typ1, beter bekend als de Kever, is een van de meest iconische auto's ooit geproduceerd. Zijn geschiedenis begon in de jaren 30 in Duitsland, toen de toenmalige leider van het land, Adolf Hitler, opdracht gaf tot de ontwikkeling van een betaalbare en praktische auto voor het volk. Het project werd toevertrouwd aan Ferdinand Porsche, een bekende auto-ingenieur. Porsche ontwierp een prototype dat bekend stond als de KdF-Wagen, wat stond voor "Kraft durch Freude" (Kracht door Vreugde). Het doel was om een auto te creëren die betaalbaar was voor de gewone man, zodat ze konden genieten van de vrijheid van autorijden.

Dit exemplaar betreft er een welke afkomstig is uit Canada. Het voertuig komt dan ook met Canadese geexporteerde papieren. In het verleden is de auto overgespoten in een modernere kleur (spuitkwaliteit: 5/10). Er is veel plamuur gebruikt. Het interieur is opnieuw bekleed in modernere bekleding. Het voertuig rijdt en schakelt. Een leuke auto om mee te rijden, NIET een origineel exemplaar voor een verzamelaar. Wij adviseren en voertuig na te kijken voordat u ermee gaat, voor de veiligheid. 

De auto kan in Katwijk, Nederland afgehaald worden.
