Description générale

Très bel ensemble homogène de deux boîtes en argent massif ancien, réalisées en Hollande au XVIIIᵉ siècle, décorées de scènes galantes et pastorales finement travaillées selon les techniques traditionnelles de l’orfèvrerie hollandaise.

Ces objets étaient destinés à un usage raffiné (tabatière, poudrier ou boîte à mouches) et témoignent d’un travail artisanal intégralement manuel : repoussé, ciselé et gravé.
