De teddyberen die gebruikt zijn voor dit kunstwerk zijn allemaal tweedehands of kapot uit een prullenbak gevist en op deze manier vereeuwigd. De beer wordt niet alleen wereldwijd verkocht aan kunstliefhebbers en/of galleries, ook wordt de beer (op verschillende manieren) verspreid op straat (zie foto's).

Deze zeefdruk is gemaakt met een tweedehands knuffelbeer en 2 kleuren inkt (Kobalt blauw met een zand-beige achtergrond). De originele beer is in Oost-Indische inkt gedoopt en in zijn geheel op hoge kwaliteit (340 grams/zuurvrij) papier gedrukt.  Van dit originele beren-werk is een zeefdruk gemaakt in een editie van 20 kobalt blauwe beren.

Michiel Folkers a.k.a. Gieler (1982) begon eind jaren negentig met graffiti in Amsterdam. Jaren later ruilde hij de straatmuren in voor canvas in zijn studio. In veel van zijn werk is het gevoel van de straten nog goed terug te zien of te voelen. Op dit moment gaat zijn werk de hele wereld over en exposeert hij in galeries van Zürich tot aan New York. Vooral in Amerika is zijn werk populair de laatste jaren en hangt hij bij meerdere 'famous people' in huis.
