An old master 4/4 violin labeled (handwritten):

Borghi, Pietro/Lugo 1937

Materials: very nice two pieces narrow flamed maple back with matched sides and  scroll, straight high grained spruce top. Golden brown varnish over lighter ground with some tears and wears remains in good condition. Good ebony set up and new strings.
No cracks.

The total length of the violin is 590 mm, body - 357 mm. Width of the upper bout: 168 mm; middle: 112 mm; lower: 208 mm.

The sound of this instrument is of a charming character, rich, warm, sweet and beautiful colors, depth and great carrying power. For any further questions feel free to contact me.
