One of the most iconic electric guitars produced by Ovation, the first to introduce active electronics.
The FET preamp powered by two 9V batteries transforms the tone control into a sort of parametric equalizer, and allows to simulate the voice of different instruments.

Mahogany body and neck, ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl inlays, sealed metal mechanics with a stylized Ovation bowlback stamp.
It is a solid but not heavy guitar (just under 4 kg), with a nice neck and great playability.

Some signs of wear due to time, mainly on the back of the body, as documented in the photos, but perfectly functional.
Circuitry and setup recently checked by a professional luthier!
