Robin Goyeux

A refined 19th-century crystal decanter attributed to Montcenis, a historic French manufacture that later became part of the famous Baccarat crystal works. Montcenis was among the pioneering crystal houses of France, known for its innovative designs and exceptional clarity.
This elegant decanter, with its distinctive flat-sided design, was created for serving liqueurs and fine spirits. Its refined shape, purity of crystal, and balanced proportions reflect the artistry of 19th-century craftsmanship.
The decanter is preserved in very good condition, some light traces of time are present, a rare survivor of its era and a genuine witness of French savoir-faire. A valuable collector's item and a sophisticated addition to any connoisseur's table or crystal collection.
