Description from the seller

She is a Dutch visual artist, born in 1952, known for her detailed and evocative works that explore themes of identity, self-perception, and the human body, with a particular focus on women. She studied at the Art Academies in Maastricht and Arnhem. Over the years, her work has evolved, initially creating family portraits before shifting her focus to powerful portrayals of women, often with themes of vulnerability, strength, and mysticism.
