AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Rare sculpture, multiple in aluminum, specimen from the titled 'Tavole', 1985.
cm 19.5 x 9.5 x 4
(Wikipedia)
Valentini's sculptures are predominantly made of bronze, partly polished and partly patinated, or columns in refractory terracotta.
In 2004, he created Memoria, a monument dedicated to the fallen of the 'Division Vicenza', an infantry division that was sent to the Russian front during the Second World War and was decimated on January 26, 1943. The work, commissioned and donated to the Municipality of Milan by Lillo Mangano, is installed in Milan in Piazza Sant'Ambrogio.
In 2010, he created the 'Door of Heaven,' a monumental door measuring 3 m x 5 m for the very new Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Ca'Staccolo, Urbino. It is made of bronze and stained glass, which create special light effects inside the temple.
