Description from the seller
Gerard 't Hart (1933) is a Dutch artist, known for his colorful and layered works. He works with paintings, chalk drawings, wall reliefs, and his characteristic 'torn art,' where he processes paper into poetic compositions. His travels to India, Nepal, and Mexico strongly influence his work, with references to spirituality, rituals, and myths. Color and tactility are central to his expressive, almost three-dimensional style.
Dimensions of work with frame: 93 x 73 cm
Dimensions of work without frame: 88 x 68 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
