Tudor Prince Date Chronograph Panda, reference 79280, 40 mm stainless steel automatic chronograph with white dial and steel bracelet, period 2000–2010, very good with minor wear, sapphire crystal, no box or papers.
Description from the seller
Who needs a Daytona? This Tudor Prince Chronograph has all the features to rival the unattainable Rolex – a crisp lacquer dial with a panda configuration, the famous “Units Per Hour” bezel, and screw-down pushers. The best part? It costs a fraction of the price.
The steel bezel and screw-down pushers give it a rugged look. In addition, the case measures 40mm, which is perfect for any wrist. As the pictures show, it has some wear, but nothing serious.
I believe it’s post-2002 due to its condition and lack of Tiger inscription. It also comes fitted with a sapphire crystal and a thinner case, unlike its predecessor. This makes it a lot more wearable and a better everyday piece, in my opinion.
It’ll fit a 7-inch wrist with the links included. Check the Imgur album to see how it fits a 6.75-inch wrist, with one micro adjustment hole to spare. Fortunately, links aren’t hard to find, as these watches were produced from the 90s until 2007.
Condition: Very good with minor usage markings. Some wear on the clasp and caseback. See detailed photos for full condition and clarity.
Reference: 79280
Case Size: 40 mm
Crystal: Sapphire
Movement: Valjoux 7750. Service history is unknown, but it’s running strong.
- Watch only
- Fits a wrist up to 7 inches (17.7 cm).
