Harry Storms was a well-known Dutch sculptor renowned for his dynamic horse sculptures. He was born on August 11, 1945, in Tegelen, completed a pedagogical training, and later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw under Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz. Storms' career began in the mid-1970s with exhibitions of his bronze sculptures in Sittard, after which he founded a gallery and sculpture garden called De Procure in Sterksel.
