This edition was developed in collaboration with renowned perfumer Roja Dove, combining the expertise of The Macallan’s whisky makers with the art of fragrance creation. The result is a whisky designed to highlight the aromatic complexity that can be achieved through a precise selection of oak casks.

Edition No. 3 is crafted from a combination of European and American oak casks, including sherry-seasoned and bourbon-seasoned barrels, selected to enhance floral, fruity and sweet aromatic notes. Bottled at 48.3% vol. and released without an age statement, it offers a vibrant and expressive profile, with notes of orange zest, vanilla, floral hints, fresh fruits and subtle spice, supported by well-balanced oak.
