AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

APRICOT FB by ACT, the first computer with an LCD screen. The screen resolution is 640 x 200 with 25 lines.
The computer is located in the original case and essentially consists of two parts, the central main unit with
including the power supply and the computer boards with an 8086 CPU. Also the monochrome LCD screen, the double-sided diskette drive, and the connectors for printer and mouse.
The second part is the infrared-controlled keyboard powered by batteries. This APRICOT also has voice control. (microphone included) To prevent the keyboard from controlling a similar PC in the same room, there is also a fiber optic connection cable. The computer runs on 230 volts and has no batteries.
Furthermore, there are all kinds of booklets and diskettes present. (see photos)
For 1985 and the state of technology of the time, a powerhouse with contemporary capabilities.
But due to long periods of inactivity and not being used, it isn’t working at the moment.
Also take a look at Wikipedia/apricot as well—there's plenty about the APRICOT history.
A PDF with the schematic and switching parts can be supplied if desired. See the photos above for details. Truly a museum piece.
