Description from the seller
PRIMAVERA is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This painting is a celebration of everyday rebirth, an intimate scene where the domestic opens to the living pulse of the season. A tall orange ceramic vase holds blooming branches that spread freely, as if they do not entirely fit in the space that contains them. The pinkish flowers, with a loose and expressive brushstroke, seem to vibrate against a background divided into two fields of color—a deep blue and a warm green—that converse with each other, creating tension and harmony at once.
The composition is balanced by a blue cup placed to one side, a humble and silent object that introduces the idea of a pause, of time stood still. There are no human figures, but everything suggests presence: someone who has just set down the cup, someone who has arranged the flowers without ceremony, letting life unfold as it is.
Color is the absolute protagonist. The contrasts between the orange of the vase, the floral pinks, and the intense blues create a bright and optimistic atmosphere, where the painting's materiality is laid bare. The visible brushstrokes reinforce the sense of movement and spontaneity, drawing the scene away from decoration and placing it in an emotional realm.
In PRIMAVERA, the everyday becomes a small event: a simple gesture that concentrates joy, renewal, and calm. It is a painting that does not describe the season, but makes you feel it.
