Description from the seller

Erhard Hürsch – Changchun Film Studio, stamped. Black-and-white photograph, handwritten on the reverse, in good condition.

Erhard Hürsch (1920–2009) was a Swiss photographer, journalist, and author whose work captures the fascination with unfamiliar cultures and remote landscapes. With sober precision and at the same time sensitive perception, he captured the lives of people and places on his journeys—from Latin America to Tibet. Hürsch’s photographs combine documentary accuracy with poetic depth, revealing dignity, authenticity, and the small, often overlooked moments of everyday life.
