Ugo Nespolo, born in Mosso (Biella), graduated from the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin and holds a degree in Modern Literature. His early forays into the Italian art scene date back to the sixties, to Pop Art, to the future conceptualists and Poverists. Never tied to any single direction, his work immediately stands out for a pronounced ironic, transgressive imprint, and a personal sense of fun.
