This large painting is by the Brazilian painter Claus Costa (1971).
Inspired by Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, Costa began his artistic development with drawing, later turning to painting.
His paintings are always built from drawing and gain more color and vitality with every brushstroke.
Thanks to his strong technical painting skills and thoughtful use of color, he is able to convey a powerful energy and emotion in his work.
Dimensions: 60 x 181
Viewing is, of course, possible. Additionally, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we collaborate with restorers from the professional organization: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you wish to make use of this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
