Description from the seller
Exceptional old photographic print on albumen paper depicting The Last Supper after Leonardo da Vinci. Very rare in this condition.
Published by the prestigious Berlin Photographic Society (BGF) and distributed in Paris by Société Photographique, 10 rue Vivienne, this print is part of the great tradition of museum reproductions from the late 19th century, intended for collectors, institutions and informed art lovers of old masters.
Dating: around 1880–1890.
This is an authentic period albumen print, not a modern reproduction. The finesse of the tonalities, the depth of the contrasts, and the quality of the panoramic framing testify to a carefully edited work, characteristic of the leading European photographic houses of the period.

Collecting interest:
– Major iconography of the Renaissance
– Authentic 19th-century albumen print
– Internationally recognized publisher
– A patrimonial object distinct from a mere decorative reproduction
Piece intended for a collector of old photography, connoisseur of religious iconography, or graphic art cabinet.
