Description from the seller
This work by Max Kreyn depicts a scene under bright sunlight with sharp shadows.
After studying architecture for several years at Eindhoven University of Technology, Kreyn continued his studies in Monumental Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. Subsequently he studied under, among others, R.B. Kitaj and David Hockney at the Royal College of Art in London. After his studies he first went to the island of Ibiza and then to Assisi and Florence, where he devoted himself intensively to painting. For over forty years the artist lived and worked in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina and Australia. This international background and broad artistic training are reflected in his work, in which architecture, atmosphere and personal experience come together.
Dimensions: 75 x 75 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we make use of restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, please let us know."
