Description from the seller
This work by Max Kreyn shows a door and a tiled wall in bright sunlight and sharp shadows.
After studying architecture for several years at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Kreyn continued his education in Monumental Art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam. He then took lessons under, among others, R.B. Kitaj and David Hockney at the Royal College of Art in London. After his studies, he first moved to the island of Ibiza and then to Assisi and Florence, where he devoted himself intensely to painting. For more than forty years the artist lived and worked in various countries, including Italy, Spain, Great Britain, Portugal, Thailand, Argentina, and Australia. This international background and broad artistic training are reflected in his work, in which architecture, mood, and personal experience come together.
Dimensions: 75 x 75 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, celebrating its 85th anniversary year. Furthermore, we use restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to make use of this, of course we would be happy to hear from you.
