Marcel Mariën (Antwerp, 1920 - Brussels, 1993) was a Belgian Surrealist artist. The Francophone Belgian born in Antwerp was a poet, photographer, essayist, pamphlet and short-story writer, playwright, filmmaker, publisher and creator of collages, assemblages and surrealist photographs. His work is represented in major European museum collections, such as Tate in London and MoMA in New York.
