Born in Turin in 1938. In 1965, following a trip to the United States, he begins a study of the relationship between man and machine, which later becomes the characteristic theme of his work. From 1969 he begins a collaboration with the Vinciana Gallery in Milan; the artist also works in experimental cinema and in creating comics, which began to be published from the 1980s in magazines including Corto Maltese and Comic Art. From 1994 to 1997 he was a professor of Artistic Anatomy at the Brera Academy in Milan.
