Description from the seller
BODEGÓN CON COPAS is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. In this work, the tradition of still life is reinvented through a luminous and contemporary palette. Three glasses rise at the center of the composition as vertical elements that structure the scene, reflecting lights, colors and fragments of the surroundings on their transparent surfaces.
The turquoise blue background creates a field of calm that allows the objects to stand out with intensity. On the pink-tinted table are arranged citrus fruits, grapes and a small piece of cheese, generating a play of rounded shapes that contrasts with the verticality of the glasses. The vibrant colors —reds, yellows, violets and greens— are reflected in the crystal, creating a dialogue between transparency and solid color. The visible brushwork in the reflections of the glasses adds dynamism and suggests the refraction of light through the glass.
The composition balances elegance and spontaneity. The elements are not arranged with academic rigidity, but with a naturalness that conveys freshness and vitality.
Bodegón con Copas celebrates the sensory pleasure of the table: the shine of crystal, the freshness of fruit and the chromatic richness of everyday objects. It is a work where color and light transform a simple scene into a moment full of energy and celebration.
