Luxury Was Never the Point, a 40×40 cm giclée on canvas by Le Yack, signed by the artist, in a limited edition, produced in France and sold directly by the artist.
Description from the seller
Lying stretched out in an old bathtub, she eats noodles with chopsticks. Absurd scene? Perhaps. A deeply contemporary scene? Certainly. The cracked tile, the morning light, the banality of a coffee placed on the floor — everything evokes an unfiltered intimacy. The contrast between nudity, daily life, and simple food transforms this work into a reflection on modern comfort and the pursuit of immediate pleasure. An ironic and tender portrait of a generation that blends aesthetics and improvisation.
