Description from the seller
Young artist exhibited at the Centre Pompidou in September 2025 on the occasion of the day dedicated to French Young Creation, Laurent Anastay-Ponsolle is a French expressionist artist born in 1982. Drawing, painting, collage, and performance are the languages he explores with force and spontaneity.
This work is an oil painting on raw canvas with touches of oil pastels. Overall it appears very 'raw', 'barely living', and 'sensitive', qualities typical of German figurative Expressionism, a movement in which the artist is fully positioned.
The work will be shipped on its stretchers with a black frame, in a box with bubble wrap, so it can be hung directly in your home, with no additional costs. Fast and careful shipping. It is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
