Knud Böstrup 1927-2011, Denmark, was mainly a landscape painter with an excellent sense of atmosphere. Paintings with figures are rarer, and these appeal even more. This is a very charming scene of three little boys building a fire at twilight, painted in an impressionistic style with loose brushstrokes. The style and colors suit many interiors. It also has a tasteful matching original frame.

Dit is een zeer charmant tafereeltje van drie kleine jongens die in vuurtje stoken in de schemering in de impressionistische stijl vlot geschilderd met losse penseelstreken. De stijl en de kleuren passen goed bij vele inrichtingen.
Het heeft ook een smaakvolle bijpassende originele lijst.
