Description from the seller
John Torres is a versatile artist and musician from Los Angeles. He writes and composes music for TV, film, and theater, and also brings his creative vision to the canvas. His work, both musical and visual, explores emotion, rhythm, and expression, and shows how art and music come together in one story.
John Torres – Saxophonists
In this abstract oil painting, John Torres captures the energy and emotion of jazz music. The shapes and colors suggest the movement of the saxophone, while rhythm and sound seem to flow through the canvas. Torres, both musician and artist, demonstrates in his work how music and visual art can meet, and invites the viewer to experience the sounds visually.
Artwork dimensions: 100 x 80 cm
Framed dimensions: 103 x 83 cm
Viewing is, of course, possible. We also have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Additionally, we use restorers from the trade association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this service, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
