Description from the seller
OASIS INTERIOR is a 70x100 cm painting by contemporary artist Ernest García. This work is a suspended space between architecture and nature, where color builds an emotional refuge.
The scene revolves around a central axis: the water. The pool, serene and reflective, acts as a mirror that doubles the light and organizes the composition, inviting silent contemplation. Around it, the vibrant architecture — intense pinks, warm yellows, and deep blues — creates a contrast that is not jarring but harmonious, almost musical. The central arch serves as a symbolic threshold. It not only connects two spaces but two states: the bright exterior and the contained interior. Through it, the gaze is projected toward a more open horizon, yet always returns to the courtyard, perceived as a protected, intimate place.
The palm trees and plants, arranged naturally, soften the architectural geometry and bring an organic movement. They are not mere decorative elements but living presences that reinforce the idea of an oasis: a place where what is built and what is natural coexist in balance. The absence of human figures does not imply emptiness, but calm. Everything in the scene suggests that someone was — or is about to arrive — leaving an atmosphere of pause and reflection.
Oasis Interior is a painting about rest, about the need to create spaces where time slows down and the gaze can rest. A place where color not only describes but envelops.
