Fern is the pseudonym used by sculptor Clavo and sculptor Carmen Lop when they work together.
Both sculptors work metal forging, mainly iron and steel.
The techniques they mainly use are forging and welding.
Their styles range from figurative to abstract, including pop art.
They place great importance on technique and artisanal craftsmanship to make a good sculpture.
They have participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions, mostly national.
They have received awards separately, notably the "Urban Sculpture Prize City of Ávila" in 2006 and the "Memorial to the Victims of Machista Violence" in Zaragoza 2016.
They admire Spanish sculptors such as Martín Chirino, Jorge Oteiza, Eduardo Chillida or Julio González.
