Liberty Lost by Le Yack is a 40 × 40 cm giclée print on canvas, signed by the artist, limited to 20 numbered copies, produced in France, offered ready to frame with an accompanying certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
In a frozen New York, a polar bear advances cautiously over the frozen waters of the Hudson, facing the Statue of Liberty petrified by ice.
Le Yack evokes here the disappearance of humanity and nature's revenge, in a striking image where the beauty of the composition contrasts with the gravity of the message.
The silence of the great frozen metropolises becomes a metaphor for the derangement, for frozen time, and for the inexorable cycle of living things.
