Unsigned gouache painting on silk from India, titled Court Scene, in the Moghul (Mogoelrijk) dynasty style (1526–1857) attributed to the Mughal school, dating to the 19th century, in good condition, framed, 20 x 31 cm (frame 44 x 34 cm).
Description from the seller
The painting shows a court scene. The Mughal School developed during the Mughal Dynasty and was formed by both Hindu and Islamic artists, who combined Indian traditions with Persian influences. The work is made on silk and enriched with gold enamel.
Dimensions: 20 x 31 cm
Dimensions with frame: 44 x 34 cm
Viewing is of course possible. In addition, we have our own in-house framing workshop, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary. Furthermore, we use restorers from the professional association: 'Restauratoren Nederland'. If you would like to use this, we would of course be happy to hear from you.
