L’ŒUVRE
Moon Over Silence unveils a sleeping megacity under a dramatic sky, dominated by a full moon ringed by drifting clouds. The city stretches to the horizon, dense, luminous, almost suffocating, while the moon imposes its cold, unmoving presence above the human bustle.
Black and white heightens the tension between urban tumult and celestial calm. The clouds seem to part like a fracture in the sky, letting a distant light pass through, indifferent to the city’s tempo. The work evokes solitude in the heart of the crowd, the contrast between cosmic permanence and the ephemeral nature of human lives.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
LE MOT DE L’ARTISTE
« The city never truly sleeps. But above it, the moon keeps watching, silently, without judgment. »
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
À PROPOS DE L’ARTISTE
Rudy Barret (@rudy_barret_photographe) explores urban solitude, suspended time, and the relationship between human and infinity through symbolic and cinematic compositions.
His visual universe is distinguished by an extreme attention to light, the structure of spaces, and silent storytelling, elevated by precise and sensitive post-processing (Photoshop CC & Lightroom).
Each work is conceived as a moment of contemplation, inviting the gaze to leave the city and lose itself, for a moment, in the silence of the sky.
