Montblanc StarWalker Carbon Doué rollerball pen with a carbon fibre body and platinum cap, serial number on the clip, made in Germany in the Fine XX century and in excellent, working condition.
Description from the seller
In this piece we present an exemplar that perfectly embodies the modern, technological, and bold spirit of the Hamburg house: the Montblanc StarWalker Carbon Roller / Fineliner pen (in its magnificent Doué rendition). This line was conceived for a new generation of professionals, blending advanced materials engineering with the unmistakable aesthetics of contemporary luxury.
The design plays on a formidable contrast of textures and hi-tech materials. The barrel is expertly crafted in genuine anthracite carbon fiber, adorned with a slender and fascinating geometrically interwoven pattern that catches the light, while delivering incredible lightness and structural strength. To contrast with this sporty material, there is a massive and luminous platinum-plated cap, enhanced by an elegant guilloché pattern with horizontal lines. On the ring at the base of the cap is engraved the inscription "MONTBLANC", while the aerodynamically profiled clip bears the individual serial number. The true stroke of genius of the StarWalker collection crowns the top as always: the famous six-point white star that floats magically suspended inside the transparent resin dome.
Functionally, it is an elegant Rollerball. Unlike the ballpoint version, this model features the classic screw cap, intelligently designed to be screwed on safely even onto the rear end during writing, ensuring perfect balance in the hand. Your excellent and detailed photographs of the instrument disassembled confirm the absolute integrity of the internal metal mechanics and show the original refill currently mounted.
The condition is excellent. The delicate texture of the carbon fiber on the barrel is pristine and shows no scratches or chipping. The bright platinum cap and the remaining metal finishes maintain an excellent luster, and when held to the light you can see only the physiological and entirely negligible micro-scratches (hairlines) due to normal, respectful desk handling. The pen is structurally perfect, glossy, and ready to glide across the page.
