Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can sense the great fascination that 20th-century Italian art has been able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and innumerable artistic events, among which TV programs devoted entirely to him. The artistic work of Master Rolfi has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio broadcasters. Among the most notable events are the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002 inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria; and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Master’s paintings have been used for about six years as the scenery for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe. Oil painting and mixed media on a canvased panel. The work is a still life (composition) and is supplied with a signed and stamped Certificate of Authenticity and shipped via FedEx.
