Description from the seller
Claudio Rolfi born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works one can notice the great fascination that Italian art of the 1900s has been able to exert on him, great masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, among which TV broadcasts entirely dedicated to him. Of Maestro Rolfi's artistic work, the most important newspapers and television and radio stations have spoken. Among the most notable events the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held in Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palazzo della Cultura in Reggio Calabria and at BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro's paintings have been used for about 6 years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3. His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
Oil painting and mixed media on canvas panel.
