THE ARTIST
SINAO was born in New York in 1981. Although regarded as an emerging street artist, he has been working on murals since the 1990s. He loves placing his art on street materials (cardboard, trash cans, mailboxes, fire hydrants) and rarely uses canvases. He has been influenced by Blek le Rat’s works. Most of the time, you can see his rabbit (from Alice in Wonderland) embellishing the streets of American and European capitals.
As with most street artists, Sinao remains as infiltrated and anonymous as possible, revealing himself only covered by a plague doctor mask. For larger murals, he surrounds himself with artists under the Franco-American brand: Mind the Gap Label. The artist Sinao has a distinctive unique style in the world of street art.
His works are currently exhibited in numerous galleries around the world.
